Since meeting at a painting workshop in 1999 Jane Wateridge and Kathleen Dawson have discussed art at length, visited many exhibitions, mentored each other’s work and even occasionally painted together. Now they join photographer Chris Dawson to show work depicting the power of the Elements – Earth, Air, Fire and Water.

All three are inspired by their local landscape, so expect to see familiar locations (sometimes with a twist) as well as those from further afield.

Chris has been taking photographs for over 30 years. He is a member of Seaford Photographic Society and his work has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines.

Jane exhibits her work in Lewes galleries and as resident artist at The Clinic at Borde Hill. Her paintings range from majestic Swiss mountains to the chalky landscape of Seaford Head.

Kathleen is interested in change in the landscape, often drawing inspiration from natural and man-made catastrophes. Expect to see paintings of forest fires and burning buildings as well as more tranquil subjects.
